Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Settld app and website (the “Service”), provided by Saltwater Digital Limited, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 16616025) (“Settld”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Settld connects to your TikTok Shop, with your authorisation, to calculate and report your profit by reconciling orders against your settlement data. Settld is a reporting and analytics tool. It is not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for your own bookkeeping or an accountant.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 and using Settld for a business.
- You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account.
- You must own or be authorised to connect the TikTok Shop you link.
3. Your data and authorisation
You grant us permission to access your TikTok Shop data as described in our Privacy Policy for the purpose of providing the Service. You can revoke this at any time. You retain all rights to your data; you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to operate and improve the Service.
4. Accuracy
We work hard to make Settld's figures match your actual payout. However, figures depend on data supplied by TikTok's APIs and by you (such as COGS and ad spend), and on the timing of settlements and adjustments. We provide the Service “as is” and do not warrant that every figure is error-free. Always confirm important numbers against your official statements before relying on them for tax or financial decisions.
5. Plans, fees and free tier
- Settld offers a free tier (currently up to 500 orders per month) and may offer paid plans.
- Paid fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
- We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes do not affect the current paid period.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully or in breach of TikTok's terms.
- Reverse engineer, resell or misuse the Service or its data.
- Attempt to access other users' data or disrupt the Service.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on TikTok Shop and other third-party providers. We are not responsible for their availability, changes to their APIs, or their own terms, which you remain bound by.
8. Intellectual property
Settld and its software, branding and content are owned by us. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Settld is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in that period or £100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. On termination, the data-deletion process in our Privacy Policy applies.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
